Morrisons Food Drive July 2024

1,552 meals for Gloucester’s community

We would like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful community champion Helen, and customers of Morrisons Abbeydale, for helping us to hold our 1 day food drive on the 1st July.

The numbers

We are so grateful for the kindness and compassion of Morrison’s customers. Collectively donating a staggering 652kg of essential items including food, toiletries, and baby care products that will support our clients when they need it most.

This donation will support us to provide 1,552 meals in our emergency food parcels.
Alongside stock, we also received over £150 in cash donations via our donation buckets.

It goes without saying that we could not have achieved this without the dedication of our amazing food drive volunteers Doug, Gerry, & A, and Saf from Gloucestershire County Council’s Employment and Skills Hub
